A repetitive drum beat paired with urging vocals in "Horror Vacui" lifts your spirits. "Parallax / Knives" then brings it all back to earth by drawing an apocalyptic scene. Think: technology vs. nature. Finally, the ending track "Ergot" burns the entire thing to the ground, cleansing your soul from past regrets...
